In an effort to provide more consistent and accurate data on how blocking coupon extensions impacts your ecommerce revenue, the Estimated Savings metric has now been updated to Recovered Revenue in your cleanCART dashboard.

The data used to calculate Recovered Revenue is collected directly from the checkout page, allowing for faster and more accurate reporting as well as scalability across ecommerce checkout platforms.

Within this calculation, a coupon code will be considered active and calculated into Recovered Revenue if:

  • It was successfully applied by a user in the past 2 days.
  • It was applied in more than one user session (in order to exclude single use coupons).

This update also allows for the implementation of future improvements such as:

  • Greater overall dashboard performance
  • More granular reporting on Recovered Revenue per Order and Recovered Revenue per Coupon
  • Groundwork for a new, soon-to-be-released Order Report, breaking down coupon extension data by individual order.
  • Multi Currencies to be added to Recovered Revenue

Our commitment to providing you with the most reliable data and insights remains a cornerstone of our mission at clean.io, and the addition of Recovered Revenue to your dashboard is one way we believe will enable us to deliver on this commitment.
